Customer Reactivation, with a purpose

Your next customer may already know you.

Customer reactivation starts with your own customer audience. We identify suitable past customers, shape a relevant message and offer, and make the route back to your business clear.

The right past customers

Start with customers you can appropriately contact. Use purchase history and your normal buying cycle to decide who has a reason to hear from you.

A relevant reason to return

Targeted email, thoughtful creative and a clear invitation to book, buy or visit again.

Repeat business you can track

Agree the trial window and link or code, then track returning paying customers. Opens and clicks are supporting signals.

Finding · Email / Customer Reactivation

They already know you.

Mailchimp recommends identifying inactive contacts and reconnecting through relevant, targeted email. This supports a focused reactivation approach.

Source, context & limits

Mailchimp re-engagement guidance; checked November 7, 2026. The article discusses email-subscriber engagement, which is not identical to purchase inactivity.

Guidance is not a promised return rate. We agree the customer audience, offer and paying-customer measure for your business.

Context · Email / Customer Reactivation

An open can happen without a person opening.

Mailchimp explains that Apple Mail Privacy Protection can preload tracking pixels, making reported opens unreliable for affected recipients.

Source, context & limits

Mailchimp’s Apple MPP guidance, checked November 6, 2026. This concerns measurement behavior, not a campaign performance benchmark.

An open count cannot establish a paying customer. Attribution still depends on the agreed link, code and trial window.

Our application · Email / Customer Reactivation

Make the return worth their while.

Use your existing customer audience, a relevant invitation and a trackable route back to a purchase.

In practice · Email / Customer Reactivation

Know which invitation brought the visit.

Google Analytics documents campaign parameters in links that identify the campaign referring a visit.

For your business Agree the campaign link or code before sending and reconcile real purchases within the trial window.

Source, context & limits

Google Analytics URL-builder guidance, checked November 8, 2026. It describes configured traffic attribution.

A tagged visit is not a paying customer or proof of causation. The trial still needs actual purchases reconciled to the agreed link or code.

Measure & learn · Email / Customer Reactivation

Measure the return, not just the click.

Google Analytics separates purchases from the actions that happen earlier in a customer journey.

For your business Use the agreed link or code and reconcile actual paying customers in the trial window.

Source, context & limits

Google Analytics event reference; checked November 7, 2026.

An attributed event requires real configuration and valid data. It does not prove the campaign caused the purchase.

Use the windows at your own pace.

A good fit starts with a conversation

Start with a trial. Know what counts.

If the trial brings zero tracked paying customers in the agreed window, we refund the full trial payment. One tracked paying customer means the trial has succeeded. The guarantee covers the trial payment; ongoing work is a separate decision.

A little more clarity

Good questions.

What is customer reactivation?

Reconnecting with past customers through targeted email to encourage repeat business. It is designed for people who already know your business.

Is this right for my business?

Customer reactivation needs an existing customer audience you can appropriately contact and a relevant reason to return. On the call, we’ll review your buying cycle, available customer records and how a returning paying customer can be tracked.

Do we need to run paid ads?

The illustrated reactivation campaign uses your existing customer audience, without a new ad campaign. Email service and platform costs may still apply. Results depend on your audience, offer and follow-through.

How does the trial payment work?

The trial is paid. If it brings zero tracked paying customers in the agreed trial window, we refund the full trial payment. One tracked paying customer means the trial has succeeded.

What counts as a tracked customer?

A paying customer who returned through the agreed trial link or code within the agreed window. Opens, clicks and bookings alone do not count as a paying customer.

What happens after the trial?

If the trial succeeds, you can choose whether to continue. Ongoing customer reactivation is discussed separately and does not start automatically.

What should I bring to the call?

An idea of who your past customers are, what they previously bought and what would give them a reason to return. You don’t need to upload a customer list through this website.
